Redknapp Thankful After Important Progression
Harry Redknapp seemed happy after the victory on Wednesday. Tottenham Hotspur delivered in the game even against Everton. The football club also took another special spot of the Premier League. Redknapp seemed thankful, also after important progression. There were challenges, however, Tottenham Hotspur still moved forward. The manager wanted to give back and only to the Tottenham community.
Redknapp said also as revealed by the reports: “Hopefully we can still keep doing things in the community, all football clubs really. I think we should be getting back into the schools in the afternoons with the kids. I would like to see the players do it, and I would certainly do it, spend a couple of hours there. When I was at West Ham, [manager] Ron Greenwood got us all coaching the kids in the schools, we used to do four or five afternoons a week in Canning Town and West Ham.”
Redknapp prepared only for the victory. Tottenham Hotspur also delivered. The manager would just try to give back, also because of the success of the football club. David Moyes also prepared. However, Everton failed in a way. Moyes seemed sad. However, the manager also tried to just think of the capabilities of Everton also for the football club. Good football players can be produced. The football club can also move forward and just be successful.
Moyes said: “It is a little bit sad they are starting to pull away from us a little bit more than I would like. I think it was only three or four years ago us and Tottenham were competing neck-and-neck for European places. It is frustrating because all managers will tell you when you are close and competing with teams you never like to see them go away from you, but we are looking at them going away from us at this present time.”
