Ryan Zimmerman decided to still choose Washington Nationals. The baseball player just planned to still play for the baseball team in the coming years. He would still be able to play for the baseball team in the next two years however would still want to have the same ability in the following years. He would be happy when there would also be a contract extension. However, it was said that he would still need to wait for a contract extension.

Zimmerman said also as revealed by the reports: “I said from the beginning that I want to be here my entire career. It’s a place where I’ve obviously grown up. I’ve learned a lot of things here. I’ve had a lot of great memories here. I’ve been here through the times when it wasn’t nice to be a National, when people didn’t want to come to D.C. Now, I’m here [when] we are starting to become a viable team and people are starting to consider coming here every year.”

Zimmerman decided to still choose Washington Nationals also for the supporters. They also really tried to help the team become better. He wanted to still play for the baseball team and even help the baseball team really appear as better, and indeed, just more capable. Supporters would need to see improvement of Washington Nationals. He would help the baseball team also have it. Supporters would be happy. He would just try.

Zimmerman, in addition, said: “I want to be here when we go from a team that makes the playoffs … to ultimately winning a world championship. … [I want to be] in the middle of the field with a World Series trophy, which is my ultimate goal. I want to be here as much as I can, and [the Nationals] can say they want me to be here as much as they want to.”
