At the last round in Germany, Sakon Yamamoto actually replaced Karun Chandhok. And in Budapest, surprisingly, he was once again decided to replace the Indian racer. He was once again decided to be the one to occupy the Indian racer’s seat and race alongside Brazilian Bruno Senna.

Well, he was interviewed before the event in Budapest and he said that he is excited for the Budapest event. He said he can’t wait to go back to the circuit he is very well familiar of.

Yamamoto said: “I can’t wait to go back to the Hungaroring as I know the circuit already very well from my Formula One races with Super Aguri, Spyker F1 and with ART in GP2 series. The races there are always very tough because there is no big gap between the corners. You need a good braking stability and good traction on the car. I keep on pushing for another challenge and I hope that we are luckier than in Hockenheim.”

However, the racer also admitted that it is not going to be the easiest way to come back in the racing in the middle of the season.

Yamamoto conceded: “Yes, it is not the easiest way to come back into Formula One but as long as I have got an opportunity to come back here I am really happy and appreciate for the team and I will try to do my best in the third race this year.”

Yamamoto seemed excited for the race in Budapest and seemed eager to just make it in the race because of the opportunity to come back in the highest class of racing that was actually given to him. And we just admired him for these. But then of course, excitement and eagerness on something are often just not enough.
