Visiting Coach Caused Delay of Exhibition Game

Yes, the visiting coach caused delay of the exhibition game between the Maccabi Tel Aviv and New York Knicks. The said coach did not leave the floor immediately after being busted out in the third quarter. The game was delayed for about 10 minutes.
It seemed unusual but a rabbi appeared in the court and requested the referees to let Pini Gershon stay. But after a discussion with the officials, Gershon actually left. The officials were the assistant coaches and security personnel of NBA itself.
In the third quarter, Gershon was hit with two instant technical fouls. The second was on a play that was against the Knicks.
Gershon, in short period of time, dared to scream at Ben Taylor, the replacement referee who ejected him. The happening has something to do with New York’s Al Harrington being called for an offensive foul right in front of the Maccabi bench.
What happened can actually be considered as an untoward incident. There was screaming and most especially delay of a game that a lot of basketball enthusiasts and punters or bettors have waited for. It is true that there was disagreement. However, it something that can’t be prevented from taking place. It can be a part of any game. But at least now, it has ended and the game resumed and ended how it should be.
The important thing in every game is that there will be a party that is stand-alone. A party that can be in between a disagreement involving two parties. It is really something can’t be prevented from happening but it will come to an end as long as there is a mediator. A mediator will always go in between parties at variance, thus delivering a very important service for the purpose of orderliness in games or events.
