Van Gaal Accepted Internazionale Deserved to Win

Louis van GaalBayern Munich head coach Louis van Gaal, after the big game against Internazionale, was interviewed and just said that the team indeed deserved to win. The team played well in the Champions League final in Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu and therefore just rightful to win.

Argentina striker Diego Milito managed to give Inter a 2-0 victory through couple of goals. And the success just disallowed Bayern to enjoy a treble of league, cup and European victory.

But the Bayern Munich head coach said that the team just deserved to win.

“We were not good enough to impose our game,” said the head coach. “Inter only reacted, but they still won deservedly. The timing of the goals was decisive. The players learned today that it comes down to small details.”

But of course, the Bayern Munich head coach also thought of winning.

“I still have the feeling that we could have won,” said the head coach. “There was no great difference.”

However, Bayern Munich seemed to be in not so good shape.

“We attacked, Inter defended, but you have to be in great shape to beat Inter and we were not today,” said the head coach. “I still think Inter merited the win.”

Fans of Bayern were distressed by the defeat of the team which naturally meant no treble of league, cup and European victory. But then, the team most likely also tried to win and beat the opponent but just failed. The team must not really be in very good shape.

At least head coach of Bayern Munich accepted the defeat and the team could just move on and prepare for finally succeeding. The head coach did the right thing, thus the team would be into the right path. Therefore, the head coach is worth praising now. It was not easy to accept defeat and admit not being the better.
