The Lions Losing
Matthew Stafford just recently became the football quarterback for the Detroit lions. The Lions are really pleased to have Stafford on their team but will he actually make the difference for them or not? Many fans believe that he won’t do so because he already has tons of money and that his heart is not in it. However, there are lots of people who think that he does care and that he will show how much he cares by helping the team win early and often.
It is safe to say that there is a lot of Optimism about him joining the team. They also have Kevin Smith, and he is actually alright. Kevin Smith has helped the team out a few times, but it’s going to take a lot more than just Matthew Stafford joining the Lions for the team to have a winning season this year. They have a very long way to go before they even think about winning the playoffs. Some people claim that Stafford hurts the team more than anything and that he does not help them because he doesn’t put his best into his play. However, his fans feel that he does show some good things.
With Stafford as the starting quarterback now, people are wondering if this will help the situation out any, and if it doesn’t, the Lions will lose a lot of fans. The bets are down really low on them. People know that if they are playing in a game, chances are that they won’t win. This most recent move with Stafford will hopefully change things for the team. If it doesn’t, the fans will be demanding a lot more change, and it won’t just be with position players. They will also be demanding other things, like a new coach for the team. So there is a lot on the line here, and if the team doesn’t pick up their level of play soon, they will not only hurt themselves and possibly end their careers, but they could also cause someone else to lose their career early in their football prime.
People think that Kevin Smith should actually stop wasting his time with the Lions, and find another team that will help him do better where he could have more of a chance of winning games. They feel like Kevin Smith is wasting his talents with the Lions. However, Kevin Smith is really happy to stay on with the Lions for now. If anything else goes wrong, though, he might change his mind about it but he doubts it. If Kevin Smith leaves the team, the Lions would not have hardly anyone on that team that can help them win. Obviously, this would hurt them, so they are making sure that they keep Kevin Smith very happy. The Lions don’t want him to leave and neither do the Lions fans.
So, will the Lions’ pick up their game or not? We can only hope that they do, but if you see them playing in a game, it might be best to bet for someone else and not them.
