Sylvinho Hopes Robinho Stays With Manchester City

RobinhoAccording to the news, before Sunday’s FA Cup fourth-round tie at the Glanford Park, the former Real Madrid striker Róbson de Souza or more known as Robinho, told a Brazilian radio station that he has decided to join Santos. But then, Sylvio Mendes Campos Junior or more known as Sylvinho wants that the forward stays with Machester City after what he has shown on their last game.

“It’s difficult to know what’s going on”, Sylvinho told the ITV1. And the former Arsenal defender said in addition, “Robinho is a good guy and it was a good contribution from him. I believe he wants to stay because he loves Manchester City and he enjoys playing here. He’s one of the best players in the world. If he stays here it will be good for us”.

The scoring for Manchester City was actually opened by Martin Petrov. He managed to a get a goal for the club before Paul Hayes moved to the next level for the Iron. While Nadum Onuoha acted to put the club back ahead prior to Sylvinho’s screamer placed the league side 3-1 up.

Sylvinho admitted, “it was a great result for us. You have to beat these kind of teams to get to Wembley but I think the result is good for us”.

The Manchester City man Roberto Mancini was asked regarding Robinho’s possible departure from the club however seemed uncomfortable to answer the question. However, he still gave everyone a answer for peace of mind. The italian answered, “I think so, because he’s an important player. He scored a good goal today”.

Manchester City will most likely go a long way if they have someone on board just like Robinho. A player like him can really help the club succeed on many big events and so hopefully he stays with the club.
