Just recently, Shawne Merriman allegedly tried to choke his girlfriend, Tila Tequila. He first threw her on the ground, and then he choked her. Thankfully, the choke was not hard enough to do any damage. As a matter of fact, she can still walk around fine and there were no bruises or other damage to her. She doesn’t have any sprains or broken bones from her ordeal.

Tila Tequila went to the hospital after the incident to make sure that she was ok. The doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with her. There was some drinking involved, and both of them had a lot of alcohol that night. Tequila was about to leave the house when he reportedly decided to choke her. She accused him of battery and after that had a false imprisonment charge added to the list. Merriman is known for having a harsh personality, and as a result of that, he is a target out on the field.

The court will be deciding what happens to Merriman now and it will take a few months for them to sort everything out. Right now, people don’t know if he will go to jail or pay a fine or what. There are a couple of sides to the story.

Merriman says that he was not trying to harm Tequila. The only thing that he was doing was helping her because she was intoxicated. There are some mixed stories from the fans as well. However, because of Merriman’s behavior out on the field, it will be very hard for the court to decide if it was really his temper or if he really was trying to protect her.

Some fans believe that Tila just wanted to destroy his name and put him in jail because of his fame. Maybe she was fed up that so many people liked him. It does seem odd that she seems to be completely innocent of any culpability in this incident and that she did not do anything wrong.

If Merriman gets put in jail, that will be a very hard thing for his team. They don’t want to replace him with someone else, but they will have to do just that if he goes to jail, because someone has to cover for him. They are hoping that the courts will not let anything happen to Merriman, but the court, of course, has to play fair because if he did choke her and if he was not trying to protect her like he claims to have been, then he could be in jail for a couple of years or have some type of punishment handed down against him.

Everyone will be watching this case to see what exactly will happen to all the parties involved.
