Schumacher Ready for Spanish Grand Prix

Michael SchumacherMichael Schumacher will be in the much-awaited Spanish Grand Prix and now ready for it however he has actually admitted to his fans that he will not most likely be fighting for victory in the said event. And it was indeed something quite hard to believe for the fans due to the great improvements made on his Mercedes GP car.

But of course, Schumacher has been confident that the MGP W01 with longer wheelbase and improved weight distribution will be good at the famous Circuit de Catalunya. However, he has been also considering that it might not be better than the others at the circuit.

“Every team will come to Barcelona with a revised car and so of course do we,” said Schumacher. “We have worked on general improvements to the car, as well as specific developments in downforce and efficiency, and I am confident that we have room to make further progress in the future.”

Schumacher has been just trying to be realistic considering certain factors.

“Our step forward in Barcelona will be bigger than you can make at each race during the flyaways but it would not be realistic to expect us to suddenly be competing right at the front,” said Schumacher.

Schumacher just also conceded that with his 2010-spec machine, he has actually struggled to get to grips after his three-year break from the sport. The narrower front tires and possible understeer just indeed made him struggle.

But of course, Schumacher has actually the potential to make it in Spanish Grand Prix. He has been a good racer. Despite him not being very much into the idea of really succeeding, still he has great chance to.

May be the racer just needs to have faith on his ability and on his car. But then, he could just become simply realistic, nothing wrong about it as well.
