Plan B of New Jersey Nets Revealed
The Plan A of the men of New Jersey Nets was set of course to offering LeBron James a good deal and then having the basketball star. But then until now no report can actually say if James accepted or maybe will accept the offer. Thus, a lot of followers of New Jersey Nets might be just wondering now if the men got something like a Plan B.
Well, we believe that the men has something like a Plan B. It was reported also just recently that the Nets talked to the agent for New York Knicks forward David Lee after the free agency started. And also, someone close to the Nets’ management was reported to have said that Utah Jazz forward Carlos Boozer can be an option say James rejected the offer.
Nets president and general manager Rod Thorn was asked about what the team will actually do in case their offer gets rejected and seemed to have a precise answer.
“We will look at other options if we don’t get one of the top guys,” said Thorn.
Mark Bartelstein, who represents Lee, was also asked about the talks regarding the offer and just said that lines of communication have been really just open. Bartelstein also have been receiving calls from the team.
“We’ve talked a bunch,” said Bartelstein. “There is not a day that goes by that we don’t talk. They are kind of waiting now on Wade and LeBron and once they decide, we’ll go from there. If he is available when the Nets know where they stand with LeBron, we’ll be happy to talk to them. They’ve got a lot of great things going on in the organization and, you know, David loves New York and the area, but I don’t know if David will still be there when they have an answer.”
