Moyer Glad to Be Back Again With Phillies
The left-hander of Phillies, Jamie Moyer, is like a more productive observer at the ballpark than he is in the hospital or at their home. Well, the player planned to be in the dugout of Phillies for the National League Championship Series Game 3, Sunday night at Citizens Bank Park. The game is going to be against the Dodgers.
Now, Moyer is believed to have the capacity to tell a teammate if he has done something wrong. He seemed to have actually started but first with his wife. He even said, “in my apartment or at the hospital, I had to tell my wife”. He was like a keen observer at the ballbark, this is not surprising.
This season, Moyer tied with left-hander J.A. Happ and right-hander Joe Blanton for the lead of Phillies with 12 wins. And as of now, he is believed to be back with his teammates after he unexpectedly spent three nights in the hospital just the past week due to blood infection following a tendon surgery. The surgery was for the repair of his tendons in his left groin and the abdomen.
Moyer said last time that he was quite not sure about his coming back with the Phillies due to a happening he didn’t expect. He actually said, “I was quite uncertain when I went back in the hospital what was going on”, and that “it was most definitely unexpected.”
First, Moyer had a tendon surgery. After which, he was able to watch the National League Division Series Game 1 last October 7 at Citizens Bank Park. However, while watching, he experienced back pain with fever. He went into the hospital and found out he got an infection. But good thing now, he is good and he is glad to be back again with Phillies.
