Kimi Raikkonen’s Final Race for Ferrari

Kimi RaikkonenPerhaps it is true, all good things will never last. Just like Kimi Raikkonen’s three years of service to the Italian team Ferrari, it will never last. Weekends’ Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will actually showcase the Finnish racer’s final race for the said team.

A lot of Formula 1 and betting enthusiasts were greatly saddened by the bad news. But then on the good side, Raikkonen seems happy with his decision and is just full of high hopes for his performance and that of his team in general at weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

With Raikkonen saying, “the race in Abu Dhabi will be my last Grand Prix with Ferrari and as usual I will give it everything to gain the best possible result” and that, “we’ll try to conclude this difficult year with a good result, hoping that it will be enough to gain the third place in the constructors’ championship McLaren took over in Brazil”, he seems all set to go out from the team’s shelter with only good efforts of still bringing pride for its name.

Raikkonen is an excellent racer and he is very capable of achieving everything he wants for himself and for his team in regards to the weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. But then, he will go through some hardships. Even him, he said, “it will be difficult”. Most likely it will be, specially that his team’s direct competitors are still on the stage of improving their cars while his team will still use the same car that is being used since the race in Hungary. And also, there are a lot of expectations with the Yas Marina circuit and his team will be racing there first time on weekend’s event.

But for sure, Raikkonen wants to make his last race for Ferrari really memorable and so for sure he’ll be good when he is there on.
