Hiroki Kuroda Again Felt Pain in His Neck During Winter Workouts
Yes, this seems a bad news to all who follow Hiroki Kuroda and even bet for him in certain games – the Japanese baseball player again felt pain in his neck during winter workouts. Just when his fans thought he was completely over with the line drive incident, this bad news came out.
Last summer, Kuroda indeed survived the fear of a line drive off his head. But he was able to come back on the mound without worrying that it might happen again to him.
However, during the winter workouts, Kuroda again experienced pain in his neck. And his explanation to this was, possibly the line drive off his head last summer resulted to a slight herniation in the disk in his neck.
“It’s hugely possible that was why,” Kuroda said. “The ball hit on the right side of my head and it was kind of whiplash. Where I felt the pain was the left part of the neck. When I thought the pain was gone, it came right back. I think getting hit in the head had a lot to do with it.”
The Los Angeles Dodgers star conceded that he thought his neck was really fine until during the winter workouts that he felt again pain around it.
But Kuroda went through a rare type of acupuncture in his native Japan to relieve himself from the pain. And he continues to undergo regular type of acupuncture and massage treatment from Ichiro Tani, Los Angeles Dodgers’ therapist.
His fans are actually saddened by such bad news, and no doubt they are really worried and troubled. But their favorite baseball player will surely make it through. He will soon recover completely and will not anymore feel pain in his neck. In no time, he will be fine and will be pain-free.
