Gudjohnsen Wants to Make Loan Move to Tottenham Permanent

Eidur GudjohnsenYes, Icelandic striker Eidur Gudjohnsen wants to make his loan move to Tottenham Hotspur permanent. He is actually just enjoying so much his time in England.

Gudjohnsen only moved to Tottenham Hotspur from Monaco in January. And he will indeed only stay at White Hart Lane until the end of the season. But the famous striker has been trying to tell everyone that he loves to be with the team and just considers making his loan move permanent.

Well an agreement that would let him move to Tottenham Hotspur permanently is now actually believe to be in place. However Monaco will not say yes to the agreement and will bring back Gudjohnsen to the Ligue 1 team when his temporary loan move deal ends.

A Monaco spokesman has confirmed that the team will not entertain any negotiations or bids in regards to the matter as the team wishes to have Gudjohnsen back.

“We are pleased that Eidur is enjoying his time in England but we expect him to come back, we want him to,” a Monaco spokesman said. “He has a future here.”

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp also wants to have the 31-year-old striker permanently in the team. According to reports, he has been impressed with the attitude of the striker since he joined the team. And that he will also fight to keep Gudjohnsen. He will also try to convince Monaco to give in and just let him remain with Tottenham Hotspur.

This issue involving Gudjohnsen and his move loan to Tottenham Hotspur might still go a long way. We are just not sure when exactly it will come into an end. But one thing we are just certain about, Gudjohnsen and Tottenham Hotspur will do what they need to do. While Monaco might just consider letting the striker go.
