Gannon Seemed Sure About His Decision on Peterborough Future

Jim_GannonYes, Peterborough United F.C. manager Jim Gannon seemed already sure about his decision regarding his Peterborough future, news reports have confirmed.

The 41-year-old has considered signing a long-term contract, but just unsure about relocating his family from Stockport. It might be just little tough for the manager to.

However, despite the relocation trouble, Gannon still was able to come up with a decision he’d certainly go for.

“I have made my decision already,” Gannon said after his side lost 4-0 at Scunthorpe on Tuesday. “I will meet with the chairman and then I’ll leave it to the club as to how things are presented in the media.”

The team is currently at the bottom of the Championship and actually 10 adrift of safety however still eager to have Gannon for the next season.

But Gannon, before revealing that he has already made a decision on his Peterborough future, first consulted his family and went through serious reflection.

“You have to sleep on things and chat them over and it’s a very difficult decision either way,” said Gannon.

But of course, the manager was able to come up with a decision in regards to his Peterborough future.

“I’ve made my decision in the last couple of days already and I’ll speak to the chairman tonight and let him know my decision,” said Gannon on Tuesday night.

But the manager decided to leave it to the team to talk about the protocol.

“I’ll leave it to the club to announce the protocol but from my point of view the last couple of games and the results have had no bearing on it,” said Gannon. “I made a decision based on my overall feeling of where I want to be. I think it’s only appropriate that I speak to the chairman tonight and maybe I’ll get an opportunity to speak to the players tomorrow. From my point of view we have to do things professionally and I’ll be guided by the club on that.”
