Fans are getting ready for the regular season of professional  football to begin. It’s getting started in a very exciting way. One thing that people have learned is that when you bet on the NFL, you could earn a lot of money, or you could lose it very fast. If you’re not experienced with betting in the NFL, the chances are you might lose it. It’s for that reason that some people don’t bet on football at all. Football is a particularly challenging sport, both on the field and with the associated betting.  If you decide to bet on football, you’ll be dealing with professional gamblers who have been making a living out of successfully playing the odds for years. One team that you can bet with confidence on, for the most part, is the Steelers. When they played in Super Bowl XLIII, they defeated the Cardinals by a score of 27-23. There are already some rumors that Mike Tomlin and his crew might be doing the same thing this year. They have a very good chance of winning the next Super Bowl, XLIV, which will take place in Miami, Florida in 2010.

Just like every sport, there will be some teams that don’t play well and other teams that just seem to be lucky. The teams that don’t play that great usually don’t make it very far and the bets on them get low fast. There are some teams that appear to be lucky a lot, like the San Francisco 49ers, the Kansas City Chiefs, the San Diego Chargers, the Atlanta Falcons and a few other teams. San Francisco has one the Super Bowl five times, in 1981, 1984, 1988, 1989 and 1994. They are a very good team.

Pittsburgh, though, has lots of bets on them right now, and they are under tons of pressure because of it. There are a lot of fans who realize the talent that the team has. One team that is struggling for bets is the Cardinals. Maybe the reason why the Cardinals are struggling is because they keep losing. When the Steelers defeated them, it made a lot of the fans disappointed, and so they have changed their bets so they won’t face that same disappointment in the future.

Who will win this year? Everyone will be watching the Steelers soon because in a couple of weeks, they will be playing against the Titans, and the way that they play in that game will also help fans decide whether they should or should not continue betting on the Steelers. It goes without saying that if the Steelers win when they play the Titans, they will be gaining some new and devoted fans.
