England Lacked Confidence According to Dempsey

Clint DempseyFor the USA and Fulham forward Clint Dempsey, England lacked confidence in the 1-1 draw between the two sides in Rustenberg. According to Dempsey, the national team seemed to be just without confidence in the weekend game.

For his side, the forward actually save some spoils with a good equalizer, as England goalkeeper Robert Green committed a careless mistake that actually disappointed so many sports fans.

“Honestly, it seemed during the game that they were dealing with a lot of pressure,” said Dempsey. “I don’t know why that is, you could just sense it a little bit. Even though they did score early, when we came back and we equalized, they just seemed edgy. You wouldn’t think that would be the case for some of the best players in the world being on teams of the quality of Chelsea or Liverpool, winning the Champions League or the title.”

According to Dempsey, for the people the players must be the kind of players to have the confidence and as one should just play with belief in own power.

“You would think these players would be full of confidence,” said Dempsey. “There just seemed to be an edge to the team, but it could have just been the opening game. They were edgy, there was edginess to their game, but I think they’re a team with quality and they should play with confidence.”

Well, Dempsey must be just concerned about England and the players of the national team so he has said such. And the USA and Fulham forward can be, he can actually care about the national team and its players. But of course, others, though say they also cared about the team and its players they might have said different things. However, we all won’t actually always have same views.
