Chest Injury Caused Drogba Trouble

Didier Yes, a chest injury caused the Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba, a trouble. He was actually pulled out of the Ivory squad for the World Cup qualifier against Guinea on Saturday and the reason behind was none other than his chest injury.

Drogba earned himself a chest injury during the 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday. And now, he will not be able to play in the weekend game. Well, it is a trouble for him and for his team at the same time.

The Chelsea striker was unexpectedly caught by a high foot in the chest by defender Jonny Evans of United. This event then caused him a chest injury which is really an unfortunate happening.

But on the good side of things, Drogba could return for the international friendly which is against Germany in Gelsenkirchen next week. A lot of people have great trust on him that he really could. Carlo Ancelotti, the Chelsea Italian boss, even revealed that he has high hopes on his striker’s better condition in the next days to come.

Ancelotti can be remembered saying that, “Drogba has a problem because he’s struggling to move, but I hope he’ll be better in the next few days.”

What happened to Drogba simply proves that anything can really happen in an instant. He plays a significant role in games all for Chelsea and for the team to lose him in one or even more games will be difficult. But of course, what happened to the striker is something that’s not within someone’s control. It is meant to happen.

What is important now is, the team still tries to make it in the weekend game though without Drogba. They still have to prove that they are one of the best teams in the world of football. The striker would be there to give them great moral support.
