Carragher Realistic With Premier League Title

Jamie CarragherIt seemed that Jamie Carragher was only trying to be realistic when he said that the Premier League title is possibly not for Liverpool to own this season. The previous campaign, The Reds only ended up at disappointing seventh place, the lowest place the club ended up at since the start of the Premier League.

Roy Hodgson was brought to Anfield however Carragher admitted that he doesn’t expect that it will help them secure the title this season. The problem, he believed, has nothing to do with the manager.

Carragher said: “People have said ‘You’ve done this and that for Liverpool’ but we’ve not won a trophy for four years and that is annoying me a little bit. I certainly don’t want to go on another couple of years not winning one before I finish at Liverpool.”

Carragher tried to be realistic with the Premier League title. And he figured out that it might possibly not for the club to own this season. But he seemed unsure if there is really any reason why they can’t have it this season or maybe in the next couple of years.

Carragher said: “I don’t see any reason why we can’t win a trophy this season or the next couple. The one I haven’t won is the league, but I suppose that will be very difficult this season going from seventh last season. But I see no reason why we can’t have a good go and have a trip to Wembley.”

But we just hope for the best for Carragher. He seemed really eager to win Premier League title this season but then because of reality that he and his club will find it hard to have it this season considering their last campaign’s seventh place it seemed that he just accepted the reality. However we just hope for the best for him.
