Calderon Tore Left Leg Muscle

Jose Manuel CalderonToo bad that Spain’s point guard Jose Manuel Calderon tore a muscle in his left leg in Sunday’s match that now he will be missing the basketball world championships. His left leg was examined and it was found out that he needs to take a break from playing maybe for about four weeks to allow muscle to heal.

The Toronto Raptors player tore a muscle in his left leg in an exhibition. After it he went to the locker room scoreless but with three assists. The Spanish federation then announced after his left leg was checked up that Calderon will be sidelined for maybe four weeks in order to recover.

Calderon was interviewed after hurting his leg and he admitted that he was saddened by what happened during the game. He will be missing the basketball world championships because of the incident.

Calderon said: “There is not much to say. It’s a pity I was injured at the last minute.”

The basketball world championships will already start in Turkey on August 28 and will end on Sep. 12.

Just too bad that Calderon tore a muscle in his left leg in Sunday’s match and so will be missing the basketball world championships. The player felt bad for sure but then he knew he can’t do anything about it. His fans felt same way but then likewise they knew there is nothing that they can do with what happened. What they can do was to just face the problem, deal with it, with right attitude.

Calderon can still make it to other upcoming big events if he would just recover. Playing in the basketball world championships must be very important to the player and his fans but then they just have to accept that it would be impossible to play in the basketball world championships with player hurting his left leg. They can just look forward to making it to other upcoming big events.
