It is confirmed that famous striker Craig Bellamy has opted to join Cardiff City. He will be joining the club on loan for a season.

Some fans of Bellamy were surprised with the decision of their favorite to actually depart from Manchester City to join Cardiff City but then they felt that Bellamy was actually positive with making such kind of decision.

Bellamy said: “I’m thrilled to be coming back home to Cardiff and am excited at the prospect of wearing the shirt and playing for the club I’ve supported since I was a boy. I’ll be working hard with my new team-mates to bring success to the club and look forward to our next Championship game on Saturday. I’m sure that all City fans will play their part in driving us forward this year.”

Bellamy actually admitted that it has been his dream to be able to help his hometown club make it to the Premier League. And his dream became a reality when he decided to depart from Manchester City to join Cardiff City.

Bellamy said: “It has been my dream to play my part in taking my hometown club to the Premier League, which would be fantastic for the football club, the city of Cardiff and Wales.”

The fans must be actually happy for the footballer as finally he got the chance to make his dream become a reality. At last, he would be able to extend help to his hometown club in own Premier League campaign.

And Dave Jones was also glad with the decision of Bellamy to join Cardiff City. The manager will surely be there to guide and support the footballer.

Jones said: “Bringing Craig to Cardiff is another big step in the development of this football club and I am delighted that he has agreed to join us.”
