Coach Alvin Gentry said: “He’s a player we’ve always coveted and we’re extremely happy to have him here. He’s such a versatile player; we can use him as a ball-handler, we can use him as a screener, as a spot-up shooter, we can isolate him on the elbow and take advantage of a lot of things he can do.”

While Turkoglu must also be happy to actually go for the team considering the relationship of the men in the team and of course the system that they have with their coach. Turkoglu must also be glad to finally be with the team.

Turkoglu said: “They’re a good group of guys who like to play together and they have a good system with coach Alvin here. I’ve been watching the past years and they enjoy playing together and the style they play looks great to me.”

Turkoglu, when interviewed was still recovering from minor gall bladder surgery but it seemed that he was doing fine. He will surely completely recover and then just be able to start playing for Phoenix Suns. He will be able to prove later that he is just worth pursing, worth having.

Scioscia said: “He’ll be a boost. He can definitely play third base every day. We’ll see how some of the pieces fit. The work he does in the batter’s box is special. He can hit. He’ll help fill the void Kendry Morales’ departure created.”

But then Scioscia also conceded that the general manager also found it hard to make such decision. It was not an easy decision to make for the general manager in particular, the manager admitted.

Scioscia said: “This was not by any means an easy decision on Tony’s part. It’s not easy to put Sean O’Sullivan or Will Smith in a deal unless we were getting a player who can help us.”

Well, we still have to see if acquiring Callaspo in replacement of the pitchers will bring forth good result. We still have to see if eventually it will really boost offense of the Angels. It will just take some time for us to see.

Most likely, O’Neill will like the idea of still having Milner as the boss actually admitted that he also helped in the last season of Premier League. Still having him in the coming years will be a good one for the boss. However, he might just leave if good offer for his transfer comes along.

O’Neill explained: “Eventually if players do want to leave the football club, or any football club for that matter, then it becomes more difficult than ever before. But what I will say is we have a better chance of performing in the manner in which we did last season if we could keep the best players and James comes into that equation.”

Well, we just hope for the best for O’Neill and the club and then for Milner. All just want the best of course. The best might be something like Milner staying with O’Neill and the club, let us all see if it is. Just hoping for the best for them.

Supposedly, Zambrotta will be at San Siro only until the summer of next year. But then new manager Massimiliano Allegri moved fast to have him longer. Allegri offered him quickly a new deal that would make him stay at San Siro for a further season.

It was reported that AC Milan indeed extended the contract of Zambrotta until June 30, 2012. Well, this just sounds interesting for us now.

Good thing AC Milan has found hope with the veteran defender, thus extending his stay at San Siro for a further season. It is just good to hear about a club finding hope with a certain player as it only means a better league for everyone with a club simply inspired and optimistic.

And also, good thing Zambrotta did not refuse to accept the offer by AC Milan to stay longer. The veteran player did not choose to make the club lose that hope most likely for one great possibility of becoming a better club.

Zambrotta most probably has also found it good to stay at San Siro. He has been with the club for years and he most likely also found his years of stay at San Siro just good. Thus, he accepted the new deal, the deal that actually extended his stay at San Siro for a further season. “Well, we need to try and keep consolidating on weekends like this,” said Webber. “The other car had a problem, so we lost some points with that situation. But we were very strong this weekend. That’s evident to the development that has gone on with the car.”

D-backs’ Derrick Hall actually confirmed that the report on the preparation for the 2011 All-Star Game to have already started is something just true.

“It starts Wednesday,” Hall said. And it was even conceded by the D-backs’ boss that the organization brought some employees to Anaheim to watch over their counterparts with the Angels.

“It’s been eye-opening; it’s been educational,” Hall said. “We brought out close to 50 employees so they could take notes and get a leg up on the work that starts Wednesday. They were very comfortable with everything they saw and we feel like we’re going to run a very smooth operation as well.”

But then Hall also admitted that it is going to be a hard act to follow. The Angels, for Hall, actually did a brilliant job.

“It will be a tough act to follow,” Hall said. “The Angels did a great job, and when you have Disneyland as a close backdrop and brand, that’s a lot to live up to, but I think Phoenix and the state of Arizona is really going to impress everyone. We’re going to put on a heck of a show.”

Well, we just wish everyone the best with the 2011 All-Star Game. May everyone actually be able to provide everything needed. But then for just being so into the exhibition game, everyone will most likely make it.

Wilkins explained: “There should be no problem whatsoever. Mikel is slightly in advance of Michael Essien but they’re both working very well indeed. They’ve been working double sessions for the last week and we’ll get them really firing before the season starts.”

And in addition the assistant coach said: “Normally, after a World Cup, you find with those players who come back from the tournament, they hit a wall at about December time. It’s very important we manage them in the correct manner and we get them to a level where they won’t be as fit as we want them to be but, as they creep into the New Year, their fitness will come back. We also have to get the players we’ve got here training now into the right fitness condition so that they’re prepared to play, because we might not be able to use the guys coming back from the World Cup for the first couple of games.”

Capello’s men actually failed to make it in the round of 16 of the tournament and then advance. In the second round, they did not win against Germany and so were not able to go on in the World Cup.

The manager must be happy in a way with them as a team moving up to seventh in the FIFA’s world rankings despite their World Cup debacle. At least they became one place higher in the world rankings despite not doing well in the tournament.

France team slipped down to 21st and Italy to 11th. Both teams fallen seriously in the rankings after failing to qualify from their groups.

But the Uruguay team was able to move up ten places to sixth after giving a good performance and New Zealand moved up to 54th from being at 78th before. New Zealand team was the only team that did not lose a game in the finals thus the team moved up seriously to 54th.
