Turkoglu Now With Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns bosses had been very interested about having Hedo Turkoglu as part of the team. Well, the bosses could not just avoid then to pursue him as he can really be helpful, he can actually do a lot of things.
In 2004, it was even reported that Turkoglu was actually close to being a part of Phoenix Suns. However, some years back, a deal was not only possible.
However this year, finally, Phoenix Suns got the man in a trade with Toronto. And the bosses might be just so excited now to see him on the court with Steve Nash, the two-time league MVP.
Coach Alvin Gentry said: “He’s a player we’ve always coveted and we’re extremely happy to have him here. He’s such a versatile player; we can use him as a ball-handler, we can use him as a screener, as a spot-up shooter, we can isolate him on the elbow and take advantage of a lot of things he can do.”
While Turkoglu must also be happy to actually go for the team considering the relationship of the men in the team and of course the system that they have with their coach. Turkoglu must also be glad to finally be with the team.
Turkoglu said: “They’re a good group of guys who like to play together and they have a good system with coach Alvin here. I’ve been watching the past years and they enjoy playing together and the style they play looks great to me.”
Turkoglu, when interviewed was still recovering from minor gall bladder surgery but it seemed that he was doing fine. He will surely completely recover and then just be able to start playing for Phoenix Suns. He will be able to prove later that he is just worth pursing, worth having.
